Show Notes

"If there is a forest standing, it's because there are people there standing with the forest."

Today’s conversation is with Paloma Costa, a Brazilian climate activist, lawyer, human rights defender, and one of the seven leaders of the Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change for the United Nation Secretary-General. Paloma has been speaking out about the insane inaction governments are guilty of through multiple conferences including COP26 and the UN Climate Action Summit where she talked alongside Greta Thunberg. Paloma is definitely not scared of saying it how it is, calling governements out and leading school climate strikes. For her, it’s not climate change, it’s the climate emergency
